2011 Offline installer option Startup Repair on the boot menu

Most Windows users do not know that automatically installs Windows 7 S tartup Repair the operating system partition and can be easily accessed without using the installation DVD or USB.

Although one can easily access Startup Repair ( S tartup Repair ) just by pressing F8 during boot, many users want to see the same option in the start menu the same . Also, some users are getting the following error when trying to access the Startup Repair:

Windows can not find the installation file required [boot.wim]. Verify that the installation source is valid, and restart the installation .

If you're looking for a way to S tartup Repair in the boot menu (displayed by pressing F8 at boot) or want to correct the error above, here is the procedure:

Add Startup Repair Option To Windows 7 Boot Menu

1. Download Recovery Disc (ISO Windows7, in shock from this blog). Different ISO are available for both x86 and x64 versions of Windows. Therefore, make sure you download the correct.

2. Extract the ISO (use 7-Zip, Winrar, etc.) to a folder on your drive "C" or any other unit.

this will 2 folders (boot and sources) and a file (bootmgr).

in the boot directory there are 3 files: bcd, boot.sdi, bootfix.bin

sources in the directory is the file boot.wim & # 160, which is where we will later.

3. Download EasyBCD (free) tool. Install and run the application.

then you have to find the image WIM file that is in the "sources" which has been removed Recovery Disc to do so click on the icon shown in the second arrow in the image.

For example, if you have extracted the ISO to C: \\ Startup Repair, then the path to the WIM image would be "C: \\ Startup Repair \\ sources \\ boot.wim"

5 . Click Add Entry to complete the procedure. Close the program EasyBCD and restart your machine to see a new entry in the boot menu simply by pressing the F8 key during startup.

IMPORTANT: Before all this, I recommend making a backup of the entire system (Acronis True Image the best) and if the system restarts, this is a dangerous and can be unpleasant without a backup, I I had problems because my system was already compromised in many testing programs have not worked well.
